I ordered two sticks of memory for a total of 1 GB. They came individually packed in standard plastic packaging with a piece of pink foam (anti-static) in each package, shipped in a bubble-pack envelope. I thought the shipping package could have bean a little better, but apparently it worked. At first I was getting a memory error; my system was acting flaky and rebooting randomly. However, once I adjusted my bios settings some, everything worked fine. Basically, I had over-tweaked the memory for performance greater than it could provide, so I just dialed the settings back a bit and now everything is fine. I’ve since run numerous memory tests without any errors. I have had no problems since, and no complaints. My old computer has new life with 1.5 GB of memory and Ubuntu Linux <–and I highly recommend Ubuntu, too. Good deal.
