Used this RAM to upgrade my 2008 Macbook Pro from 2 to 4GB.

So far no problems, the upgrade is simple and the RAM is working just fine – makes a lot of difference if you are using VMWare!

Works well with the 900ha. Am not sure that XP needs it at all, but Linux, and the up coming windows 7, can make good use of it.

Transcend memory has never failed me

There’s not much to say about RAM – sure you could get micro-technical, but for most people the stick works, or it doesn’t.

I bought this for an Asus 1000HE to upgrade it from the stock 1GB RAM to 2GB, and it works fine. As others have said, some netbooks can get finicky with RAM selection, so I thought adding my experience to the list may well help others relax and order it for their EEEPC.

I did NOT have to make changes at the BIOS level (though I’d recommend entering the bios as I did to make sure that it’s recognized properly), and the stick is seen as 2GB in the boot screen, Windows XP, and Windows 7 (which I installed on a second partition).

Buy it, use it, forget it. It works.
