this was advertised as in stock and was odered on the 14th…today is the 24th and it still didn’t arrive in the mail today. I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from here and I know Amazon is slow…but this is the last straw…I needed that card for an event tonight and another event in the morning. Amazon your shipping sucks!

I can only give it 3 stars until I get it and try it.

I have been an Amazon.com customer for many years and this is the first review I’ve ever submitted. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I have been planning an Alaska trip for 3 years, even bought a new Canon SX110IS (GREAT camera by the way) for the event. I purchased 2 of the Transcend 2GB SDHC cards from Amazon.com at just under $8 each. I definitely got what I paid for. On the second day of the trip I noticed that several of my picture files were “unreadable” on the camera. The next day I lost several more. I ended up going to a Best Buy in Billings, Montana to buy a 4GB Sandisk SDHC card for $32, and it has worked beautifully. So whoever buys these Transcend cards and thinks they’re getting such a great deal may want to think again.

The writer who gives this product one star is being totally inappropriate. She comments that it is a more cost-effective and a better buy (for her limited purposes with stills) to get a 2GB card.

Those of us who work in AVCHD / HD video need the 32 GB capacity, and for her to trash the Transcend card just because an older 2GB card is more cost-effective for use with stills is irresponsible.

This is a great card. I use it for recording MXP (24Mbps) AVCHD in a Canon HF S10, which is a pretty intensive application, and so far I have not seen any errors at all. I shopped it pretty hard, and found this to be the best buy for the money. Transcend is excellent quality, and the reason I ended up coming back to this page is because I am ordering another one right now. If that says anything.

Great card, though you might have to format the card before it is usable on some cameras such as Panasonic DMZ-ZC3. Camera prompts you on start up “Memory Card Error Please Check The Card.” without an option to proceed or format. If so, the solution is to reformat card with a panasonic program [...]

I used the default format settings, after that, worked as a charm!

This is an awesome piece of technology. Regardless of transfer speeds (which are pretty reliably fast with this card) the fact that you can get 32gb of memory in a piece of plastic that small and still be relatively affordable is simply awesome. These cards are ideal for camcorders (don’t get the slower class-2 or class-4 cards. You risk losing data when writing to the card), or virtually any other application. I use them in my Cowon O2 and Dell Mini for holding all my media files. I get read speeds of about 18mb/second and write speeds of about 11mb/second, which is quite respectable in my opinion. That’s about as fast as SDHC technology is going to take you; if you want faster wait until Solid State hard drives are standard inside camcorders and audio players.

Relatively cheap, from a good brand, and class-6: what more do you want?
